I don't know if anyone else remembers a song way back in 1985 by Eddie Murphy called "Party all the Time", if not and you're interested, there's a link at the bottom of this blog. Anyways, I am reminded of this song on a daily basis now because Lily has decided she wants to party all the time. She NEVER sleeps!!! We were on a roll with 8-10 hours of sleep (all in a row) for a few weeks way back in March and April, then she decided that needed to stop and makes frequent (and I mean FREQUENT) requests to be picked up all night long. This seems to come and go and recently we have been experiencing 5-6 hours of sleep, but last night was ridiculous! She only slept until 12:00am and then continued to wake up every 30 minutes until her daddy finally decided to sleep with her in her room. This means she got to get out of her crib and be cuddled all night long. She is getting a little to used to that happening. I wish we could find out the reason that sleep is her enemy, she isn't waking up screaming in pain and will fall back asleep as soon as you pick her up.
